Our Sangria Lolea got 2 Silver Medals at The Wine & Spirits Tasting Competition that took place during the Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America (WSWA) 71st Annual Convention Exposition early this month in Las Vegas.
Sangría can only be sangría if it is made in Spain or Portugal. The European Parliament last January passed legislation to reform labeling regulations and the protection of geographical indications for aromatized drinks, which include sangría. Such drinks can now only be sold under this denomination if they are produced on the Iberian peninsula. *********************************************************************************
